Values
Liberation First
We are rooted in the belief that all people deserve freedom, dignity, and joy. Our work centers those most impacted by systemic injustice and moves toward collective liberation in everything we create.
Creativity as Power
Art is a catalyst, not an afterthought. We use creativity, storytelling, and expression as tools for connection, healing, education, and social change.
Collective Care
We prioritize sustainability, wellness, and community-centered practices. We believe caring for ourselves and each other is essential to building strong movements and organizations.
Meet the Queen
In the height of the social uprisings of 2020, following the brutal killing of another Philadelphia-based Black trans woman and the public assassinations of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd, I transformed my grief and feelings of helplessness into action. Witnessing the ongoing violence against Black women, trans, and gender-expansive people pushed me into movement work, where I connected with a regional Reproductive Justice organization and helped organize a March for Justice honoring the lives of those lost to state-sanctioned and patriarchal violence.

Affectionately known as Queen Phierce throughout Philadelphia’s queer and artist communities, I’ve always been a curator, organizer, and storyteller at heart. Since 2010, I’ve created platforms and experiences that amplify the voices of Black women and queer people — from webcasts and curated gatherings to opening my home as a judgment-free space for poets and singers to express themselves. My art reflects my lived experience, telling community stories both verbally as a poet and visually as a self-taught painter.
I bring together strategy, creativity, facilitation, and liberation-centered practices to co-create transformative change with individuals, organizations, and communities.
I am The Royal Rebel — building power, cultivating liberation, and curating impact through art and action.

For nearly six years, I’ve had the opportunity to organize and grow in leadership within that organization, leading community-centered initiatives rooted in Reproductive Justice, collective care, and liberation. I’m deeply thankful for this experience, as it became my crash-course introduction to organizing, movement work, and Reproductive Justice. Reproductive Justice gave language to my lived experience in this world as a Black, queer woman.
Reflecting on my journey from Special Needs Educator and Foster Parent to organizer and activist, I often say, “I felt helpless until I realized that’s how these [oppressive] systems want us to feel.” Since stepping into this work, I’ve led mutual aid efforts, facilitated RJ-centered leadership development programs, and created transformative workshops and trainings on Reproductive Justice and birth advocacy.
